Google E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. It is a concept used to analyze the quality of a website based on four factors:
- Experience: The author’s first-hand experience with the subject matter.
- Expertise: The extent to which understanding is demonstrated within the content and by the author.
- Authoritativeness: The website and individual’s overall reputation in a known industry.
- Trustworthiness: The best way to earn trust and faith is by showcasing an aggregation of experience, proficiency, and authority.
E-E-A-T is part of Google’s Search Quality and Rater Guidelines that are used to assess content on the basis of on-page quality, understanding user requirements, and meeting user requirements. While E-E-A-T is not a direct ranking factor, it is an essential consideration for SEO. Google prioritizes users as well as wants in order to ensure that they see content that is accurate and also fulfills their intent.
